Shipping Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This Shipping Policy explains how GRANDMARK delivers wholesale orders to trade buyers. It applies to all orders placed through https://jumingsheng.com or confirmed by our proforma invoice (PI).
1. Order model
GRANDMARK is a B2B wholesale supplier. Orders are confirmed by a PI and a 30% deposit. We do not operate as a consumer retailer.
2. Incoterms: FOB vs CIF
Orders are quoted under Incoterms® 2020, on either FOB or CIF terms as selected by the Buyer and stated on the PI.
| Item | FOB (named port of shipment) | CIF (named port of destination) |
|---|---|---|
| Who pays ocean freight | Buyer | Seller (included in the price) |
| Who arranges cargo insurance | Buyer | Seller — minimum 110% of invoice value, ICC(C) |
| Destination port charges | Buyer | Buyer |
| Customs clearance, duties and VAT | Buyer | Buyer |
| When risk passes | Goods on board at the Chinese port | Same — goods on board at the Chinese port |
| Chinese departure ports | Shenzhen Yantian / Shekou, Guangzhou Nansha | Same |
| Best for | Buyers with their own freight forwarder | Buyers who want one-stop, delivered-to-port pricing |
EXW, FCA, CFR, DAP and DDP can be quoted on request. For CIF, broader insurance cover (Institute Cargo Clauses B or A) is available at the Buyer’s cost.
3. Lead times
- Samples: dispatched within 3–7 working days by international courier.
- In-stock styles: 7–15 days after confirmed deposit.
- Made-to-order and private label: 35–50 days after deposit and sample approval, as confirmed on the PI.
4. Shipping methods
- Sea freight (LCL / FCL): standard for bulk orders. A 20ft container typically holds 3,000–4,000 pairs depending on carton packing; a 40HQ container holds more.
- International courier (DHL/FedEx/UPS): for samples and small urgent orders.
- Air freight: available on request for urgent orders.
5. Packing, cartons and shipping marks
Goods are export-carton packed, normally in shoe boxes inside export cartons with each pair in a poly bag. Custom packaging, hangtags, labels, carton printing and shipping marks are produced to the Buyer’s confirmed instructions; special packaging may incur extra cost.
6. Export documents
Each shipment is accompanied by a commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading (sea) or air waybill (air/courier). Draft documents are prepared before shipment; originals are sent after balance settlement. Testing and compliance certificates (e.g. materials, SABER, REACH) are provided where agreed in advance.
7. Customs, duties and taxes
The Buyer is the importer of record and is responsible for import licences, customs clearance, duties and taxes in the destination country. For guidance, Western footwear import duty is approximately 5%, with VAT of 19–27% in the EU, 20% in the UK, and no federal VAT in the US; verify current rates with your customs broker. Goods held or refused at customs because import requirements were not completed by the Buyer are not refundable.
8. Tracking and delays
Courier and air tracking numbers are shared on dispatch; bill of lading and vessel details are shared for sea freight. Lead times are estimates and may be affected by production, schedules or customs. We will notify you of any material delay and work with you to arrange delivery.
