Wholecut Oxford is crafted from full-grain calf leather and hand Blake-stitched to a full leather sole. Each pair is finished with a hand-rubbed patina for depth of tone and built for formal business, official and evening wear. The full leather lining and insole keep the foot comfortable for all-day wear, while the Blake construction gives a slim, flexible profile that recovers its shape in wear.

The wholecut Oxford is cut from a single piece of leather with no cap, seam or brogue on the upper, apart from the heel seam. Closed lacing and a plain toe give the foot an unbroken line. The upper is cut from a single piece of leather with no seams, the most formal and demanding Oxford to make.

Because there is nowhere to hide a flaw, a wholecut requires a larger, flawless hide and careful hand finishing, which positions it at the top of the formal range. It is the shoe chosen for boardrooms, official functions and weddings.

Each style is produced in a full men’s size run and can be packed to the size distribution you request, including the half sizes and width fittings used in the US, UK, EU and worldwide markets. We confirm the size scale and last shape on the sample before production, so the fit is consistent across repeat orders.

Production & Quality Control

Production is managed in our Foshan workshops, where every pair passes through cutting, closing, stitching, finishing and final inspection. A quality team checks the leather selection, stitching tension, sole attachment, edge finishing and packaging before goods are released, so the product you receive matches the approved sample.

We maintain consistent material and workmanship across repeat orders, and we welcome pre-shipment inspection by your own team or a third party. Where a market requires specific test reports, we arrange the laboratory testing in advance and include the documentation with the shipment.

Compliance, Documents & Shipping

We support the import requirements of the US, UK, EU and other Western markets and supply the paperwork needed to clear customs (CE marking, UKCA, REACH, CPSIA on request). Leather is produced without banned azo dyes and without hexavalent chromium, tested against standards such as ISO 17234 and ISO 17075, and we arrange the test reports and conformity documents your market requires.
